Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Contracts within the Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) program area. This candidate will play an integral role as a member of the program team, focusing on contract proposal, negotiation, execution and closeout. The portfolio is comprised of Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for the production, integration, technical assistance, and sustainment of the NASAMS® system. The successful candidate will support a major FMS customer, contract with Army Contracting Command (ACC), and supervise 1-3 Contracts team members.Our Raytheon Contracts teammates are valued business partners, influencing and executing balanced business deals, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, all in support of the products and services we deliver to our customers. Our Contracts teammates fuel powerful ideas, develop meaningful relationships, and work together to achieve and exceed business goals.What You Will DoServe as the Contracts Lead during the pre-proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and start-up phases of programsCoach and mentor other Contracts team membersAnalyze Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts execution, and contract administrationWork closely within cross-functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate terms and conditions and pricing proposalsProvide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual and program risksEstablish and enhance effective working relationships with customers and internal partners, to include Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and other functions to drive closure on complex contractual issues and achieve business resultsDemonstrate business acumen and provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies.Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract scope.Effectively communicate with senior leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization.Up to 25% travel will be required to customer locations and Raytheon locations in Massachusetts, Arizona, California, and AlabamaQualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experienceExperience with Contracts Management or AdministrationExperience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)Qualifications We PreferDemonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding, teamwork, and trust; thorough analytical skills; excellent interpersonal skills; adaptability to a variety of business situationsSkilled in coaching and developing talent, providing constructive feedback, and building high‑performing teams through trust, collaboration, and consistent communicationExperience working in a dynamic environment with the ability to multi-task across multiple programs; a demonstrated record of responsiveness with excellent time management and organization skillsExperience in the development of propos
