We are a certified Great Place to Work®, and our employee-owners are empowered to grow, collaborate, and make meaningful contributions every day.Job SummaryThe Multi-Line Claim Representative II is responsible for the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and adjustment of assigned auto liability, bodily injury, and property damage claims within a multi-account environment. This role manages claims from assignment through resolution while ensuring compliance with CCMSI claim handling standards, client-specific instructions, and applicable state laws.This position primarily supports municipality and public entity accounts, with the majority of claims arising in Texas. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of approximately 125 claims with moderate complexity, requiring strong organizational skills, sound liability analysis, and the ability to make timely claim decisions.We are seeking an experienced adjuster who can confidently handle bodily injury claims, negotiate with represented and non-represented claimants, and effectively manage first- and third-party auto liability exposures. This is a fast-paced environment where responsiveness, quality file handling, and excellent client service are critical.ResponsibilitiesWhen we hire adjusters at CCMSI, we look for professionals who take ownership of their files, communicate proactively, and consistently deliver fair, timely claim outcomes while maintaining strong relationships with clients and claimants.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate, evaluate, and adjust auto liability, bodily injury, and property damage claims in accordance with Corporate Claim Standards and client-specific requirementsManage claims from assignment through resolution, including represented and non-represented bodily injury claimsConduct liability investigations and determine appropriate claim strategiesEstablish and maintain reserves within authority levelsEvaluate medical records, bills, repair estimates, legal documentation, and other claim-related expensesNegotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and authorized representativesAuthorize claim payments within established authorityCoordinate with defense counsel and vendors when appropriateIdentify and pursue subrogation opportunitiesMaintain timely and accurate claim documentation and diary managementPrepare claim reports, reserve analyses, and client communications as neededMonitor files in accordance with service commitments and client expectationsDeliver responsive, high-quality service to clients and other stakeholdersQualificationsRequired Qualifications5–10 years of claims handling experience or equivalent education and proven claim handling performanceStrong experience handling auto liability and bodily injury claimsExperience evaluating and negotiating both represented and non-represented bodily injury claimsExperience handling first-party and third-party auto liability claimsAbility to independently manage a caseload of approximately 125 claimsStrong liability investigation, negotiation, and claim resolution skillsProven ability to make sound liability and settlement decisions with minimal supervisionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesAbility to work independently in a remote environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and OutlookActive adjuster license in home state or designated home state requiredAbility to obtain and maintain additional licenses as requiredReliable, predictable attendance during assigned business hoursPreferred QualificationsMunicipality or public entity claims experienceExperience handling claims involving cities, counties, school districts, or other governmental entitiesLitigation exposure and defense counsel management experiencePrior TPA experienceBilingual (Spanish) proficiency is a plus but not requiredWhy You’ll Love Working Here4 weeks (Paid time off that accrues throughout the year in accordance with company policy) + 10 paid holidays in your first yearComprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability InsuranceRetirement plans: 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Career growth: Opportunities to advance into senior technical and leadership rolesCulture: A supportive, coll
