**Company:** Global Security Services (GSS) **Location:** Remote / Hybrid (Must be U.S. based to obtain clearance) **Clearance Requirement:** Ability to obtain a Tier 1 (NACI) Background Investigation **About the Role:** Global Security Services is looking for a certified DHS Section 508 Trusted Tester to serve as the primary accessibility and quality assurance lead on a federal contract supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). You will play a critical role in maintaining our schedule efficiency by conducting internal accessibility reviews and ensuring rapid compliance approvals. **Key Responsibilities:** * Review, test, and certify all deliverables intended for public consumption prior to implementation, including web\-based courseware, flyers, and workbooks. * Expedite project progress by acting as the internal compliance authority, eliminating schedule delays associated with waiting for the VA 508 Office to conduct reviews. * Test all course Graphical User Interface (GUI) mock\-ups, including color and contrast choices, for Section 508 compliance prior to submission to the government. * Ensure courseware operates flawlessly across devices within a responsive design (RWD) environment while maintaining accessibility standards. **Mandatory Qualifications:** * **Certification:** Must hold an active, verifiable **DHS Section 508 Trusted Tester** certification. * **Experience:** Proven background in testing HTML5 and responsive web design deliverables for federal accessibility compliance. * **Security:** Must successfully pass a Tier 1 (NACI) background check to obtain VA network access.
