Candidates must reside in one of these U.S. states: WA, OR, ID, CA, AZ, CO, TX, IL, IN, WI, TN, MA, MD, VA, NC, AL, GA, FL (some restrictions within WA and CA).Position Highlights:$114K - $148K DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates100% employer-paid health insurance including medical, dental, vision, Rx, and 24/7 telemedicineProfit sharing & 403(b) retirement plan availableGenerous PTO, 8 paid holidays, and much more!What You’ll Do:Design, configure, develop, and maintain data solutions using a variety of data models, software, applications, and programming languages to meet business needsCoach others on the effective use of a variety of software applications and programming languagesAct as a consultant for BI Analysts, BI Architects, and business partners on BI applications, databases, and functions to promote consistent technical design, minimize maintenance efforts, and ensure data securityCollaborate with stakeholders, end users, and Application Analysts to ensure application system design, development, and testing support BI needsLead continuous improvement efforts of Developers through the creation and maintenance of code standards, and participation in peer review, code review, and Community of Practice meetingsContribute to continuous improvement efforts of the BI Team by leading team meetings and participating in retrospectivesMaintain, troubleshoot, and/or install equipment or softwareEvaluate, research, and recommend equipment and/or software maintenance and upgradesDocument incoming technical support calls and project work efforts into tracking databases to ensure timely resolutionProvide advice to Information Services (IS) leadership on the acquisition of new softwarePerform duties as a Scrum Master, which include leading scrum rituals, monitoring team health metrics, promoting automation, and eliminating obstacles so tasks may be completed and goals achieved. Evaluate capacity for new requests in collaboration with the product owner of the roadmapPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in the Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration + 7 years' experience in BI development ORAssociate's Degree in Computer Science + 9 years' experience in BI development ORTechnical Degree + 9 years' experience in BI development ORHigh School Diploma or GED + 11 years' experience in BI developmentBI development experience in a healthcare setting and/or with Epic is preferredOne or more of the following:Multiple Epic Certificate Training Statuses may be required, or the ability to acquire multiple Epic Certificate Training Statuses within 120 days of hireTableau Designer or Developer Badges preferredSkills:Analytics & Reporting: Strong experience with Epic (Cogito), Microsoft, SAP, and Tableau; able to develop reports, extracts, cubes, and universes using dimensional and relational data models.Technical Solutioning: Able to advise product owners on technical solutions, document data flows and specifications, and design effective test plans.Data Quality & Governance: Knowledge of data quality and data governance principles; skilled at analyzing complex data and producing reliable insights.Execution & Problem Solving: Independently assesses product challenges, identifies technical debt and automation opportunities, and delivers effective solutions while managing multiple priorities.Communication & Adaptability: Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to quickly learn new reporting tools, languages, and data models.Our Mission Statement“Together we transform our communities through compassionate, individualized care, eliminating barriers to health and well-being.”Our mission celebrates inclusivity.
