This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the financial future of a thriving organization committed to excellence and transparency. \#\# Key Responsibilities \- Manage the day\-to\-day operations of the accounting department, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. \- Oversee the preparation of comprehensive financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). \- Direct month\-end and year\-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and journal entries. \- Supervise general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management functions to maintain seamless financial operations. \- Develop and implement internal controls that strengthen regulatory compliance and financial reporting accuracy. \- Conduct cost accounting analysis and support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts. \- Utilize advanced Excel data analysis techniques and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms to optimize data management. \- Spearhead financial software integration, system upgrades, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency. \- Oversee regulatory reporting requirements for governmental agencies \- Drive continuous improvement in technical accounting practices related to public accounting standards and complex financial concepts. \- Communicate financial results through clear, well\-structured reports and presentations tailored to management \#\# Qualifications \- Proven experience as a senior accounting head or accounting related positions (2 year plus preferred) \- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance requirements \- Demonstrated expertise in managing accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms; proficiency in Excel data analysis is essential. \- Strong background in financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and account analysis. \- Experience with international accounting practices and regulatory compliance is highly desirable. \- Ability to manage and inspire cross\-functional teams while fostering a collaborative environment focused on accuracy and innovation. \- Excellent communication skills, with a talent for translating complex financial concepts into clear insights for diverse audiences.
