Senior Shopify Engineer

Developer Job Location: OffshoreAs a seasoned Frontend Developer, you will have experience with HTML, CSS and CRO platforms. You are an expert in developing eCommerce solutions and supporting BAU and Deployments. You will be joining a small cross-functional team.What your day will look like Use your strong technical expertise and team-playing skills to complement and get the best out of the existing team. Measure twice, cut once. We love to architect the solution and define tasks well before we start coding. So, you need to actively participate in workshops to break down the tasks. Follow the coding standards and design principles outlined by the technical leadership team. Participate in sizing sessions and contribute your estimates. · Write Clean code Write unit tests and ensure the code coverage meets the desired levels. Prepare run sheets for weekly deployments & hot fix cutovers for your work items. Take ownership in delivery and be accountable. Create pages that expected to meet google page speed insights Responsible for production support activities and being a member of the support roster. On a good day, we work normally, but at times, due to critical timelines, you may be asked for over-time that will be compensated based on the pre-discussed arrangements What you can bring to the role· ReactJs and Redux, Typescript· HTML, CSS, SCSS/SASS Shopify with Liquid Template experience Experienced in CRO platforms Google Optimize, Optimizely Ability to migrate from other platforms such as WooCommerce, BigCommerce Knowledgeable in GIT flow and GIT repositories Azure Cloud Experience with at least 2 years in enterprise-level SOLID design principles, Clean code and ability to identify the right design patterns. You will have at least 2 years of Web Development industry experience How the process will look like· Coding challenge in a Shopify store. oWhat we measure § The ability to craft an architecture that is fit for the purpose § Ability to find the edge cases and do necessary validations and actions to mitigate the risks oTimelines § Usually we dont time-box it.
