Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help streamline workflows, enhance patient experiences, and uphold the highest standards of medical support. **Duties** * Assist healthcare providers with patient intake processes, including collecting vital signs and updating electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) * Manage medical documentation accurately, including progress notes, treatment plans, and ICD coding for diagnoses * Support clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support protocols when applicable * Coordinate patient scheduling, appointment reminders, and follow\-up communications to ensure seamless outpatient and inpatient care * Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations by managing electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) efficiently * Facilitate communication between patients and providers by answering inquiries professionally and providing clear instructions for care or medication management * Support specialized areas such as dermatology, emergency medicine, geriatrics, internal medicine, or hospital\-based services based on experience and certification **Qualifications** * Proven experience in medical office support or medical assisting within outpatient or inpatient settings * Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, ICD coding, and medical documentation standards * Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and electronic health records management tools * Certification in basic life support (BLS) preferred; relevant hospital or trauma center experience is a plus * Experience supporting dermatology clinics, urgent care centers, hospital medicine units, or emergency departments highly desirable * Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and communication * Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism This role is paid and offers an engaging environment where your skills directly contribute to improved patient outcomes.
