**Position Details** * **Reporting Manager**: Principal * **Status**: Salary, Exempt * **Type**: Regular, Full\-Time (12 Months) * **Program**: Iowa Virtual Schools **Overview** Stellar Virtual seeks a passionate and certified Elementary Teacher to join our team. This remote position will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction to students in grades K\-5 through our virtual learning platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of elementary education best practices, excellent communication and technology skills, and a passion for creating a positive and interactive online learning environment. Responsibilities include curriculum implementation, assessment, individualized support, and collaboration to ensure student success. **Essential Duties** * Deliver engaging and interactive live virtual lessons aligned with the Iowa Academic Standards for Elementary Education (K\-5\) * Utilize a variety of online teaching methodologies, assistive technologies, and accommodations to support student learning and engagement. * Collaborate with general education teachers to provide effective co\-teaching strategies and ensure accessibility of the general education curriculum. * Implement the Stellar Virtual elementary curriculum effectively and adapt instruction to meet individual student needs. * Develop and administer age\-appropriate formative and summative assessments to monitor student learning and inform instruction. * Analyze student data to identify learning strengths and areas for growth, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. * Collaborate with curriculum specialists and other teachers to enhance the elementary curriculum and resources. * Support on\-site testing events periodically throughout the year (required). * Participate in virtual professional development and collaborate with colleagues on online teaching best practices. * Work collaboratively with student support services (e.g., counselors, special education) to address student needs. * Attend virtual staff meetings and contribute to the overall success of Stellar Virtual. **Knowledge, Skills \& Attributes** * Minimum of two (2\) years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level. * Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision, including the ability to manage a digital task list and maintain a stable remote (home\-office) infrastructure. * Minimum of 1–2 years of experience using the Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) in a professional or academic setting. * Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas via written channels (Email, Google Chat, and Document Comments) with high clarity and low ambiguity. * Access to a private, secure, high\-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds. * Demonstrated experience in utilizing online learning platforms and elementary educational technology tools.
