Part-Time Bookkeeper (Remote)

**Job Summary** We are seeking a proactive and detail\-oriented Part\-Time Bookkeeper to join our team remotely. Your expertise in various accounting software and financial concepts will help streamline our bookkeeping processes and provide valuable insights through precise financial reporting. **Duties** * Record and reconcile financial transactions using accounting software using QuickBooks online * Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy in debits \& credits and adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) * Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and collections * Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliation to ensure data integrity * Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements as needed * Support budgeting activities by analyzing account data and preparing financial reports * Perform account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting to maintain accurate financial records **Requirements** * Proven experience with accounting software with QuickBooks online * Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including GAAP and double\-entry bookkeeping * Familiarity with governmental accounting standards and tax regulations * Ability to perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis efficiently * Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills; proficiency in 10 key typing is preferred * Effective communication skills for financial report writing and collaboration with team members * Prior experience in public accounting or financial software implementation is advantageous * Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities Join us in this exciting part\-time role where your expertise will directly impact our organization’s financial integrity!
