**Overview** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper \& Payroll Specialist to join our team on a part\-time basis, working 2–3 days per week. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage essential financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll processing, and financial reporting, for a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting expertise, familiarity with various accounting software, and a passion for accuracy and efficiency. The Lead Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail\-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast\-paced environment. Responsibilities * Manage day\-to\-day accounting operations and financial reporting. * Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. * Process accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Prepare financial statements and management reports. * Maintain and organize accounting records and archives. * Assist with tax preparation, filings, and compliance requirements. * Manage insurance\-related documentation and reporting. * Monitor cash flow and company expenditures. * Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. * Collaborate with management on budgeting and financial planning. * Perform administrative and accounting\-related duties as needed. Qualifications * Minimum of **1 years of accounting experience** required. * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Strong working knowledge of **QuickBooks** (required). * Knowledge of taxes, financial reporting, bookkeeping, and insurance processes. * Excellent organizational and document management skills. * Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize responsibilities. * Strong attention to detail and problem\-solving abilities. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. * Professional communication and interpersonal skills. * Fluid in Spanish (preferable). Pay: $26\.00 \- $30\.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
