We’re seeking a Senior Revenue Analytics Lead to join our team!About the RoleBackblaze is seeking a Senior Revenue Analytics Lead to build and scale our post-sales and revenue intelligence capabilities.This is a senior individual contributor role for a highly technical and business-oriented analyst who can unify product telemetry, customer success signals, and revenue data into a single, actionable analytics layer.This is not a reporting-only role. You will architect, build, and operationalize systems that directly impact renewals, expansion, and revenue growth.What You’ll DoDesign and maintain a scalable data model integrating product usage and telemetry data, customer success and support signals, and revenue data such as ARR, MRR, renewals, and pipelineAlign and normalize data across systems, including Salesforce, product systems, and support toolsBuild clean, reusable datasets for analytics and BIDefine and standardize core SaaS metrics, including Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), expansion, contraction, churn, renewal forecasting, and pipeline coveragePartner with Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Sales, and Finance teams to drive revenue insightsBuild models to forecast usage and revenue growth, predict expansion likelihood, and identify churn and saturation riskApply statistical and analytical techniques such as time-series modeling, cohort analysis, regression, and probability modelingDesign dashboards in Tableau that connect product usage to revenue outcomes, surface expansion-ready and at-risk accounts, and provide visibility into renewal pipeline and performanceEnsure consistency through centralized metric definitions and SQL logicRight Fit12+ years of experience in data modeling, reporting, and analysis, working closely with business partnersStrong proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BIStrong data modeling skills in SQL are essentialA proactive self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, high-speed environments while managing multiple prioritiesSkilled at communicating complex analytical findings to executive leadership and diverse stakeholdersExperience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or RedshiftDeep understanding of SaaS metrics, including ARR, MRR, NRR, GRR, expansion, churn, and renewalsExperience working cross-functionally with Customer Success, Revenue Operations or Sales, and FinancePrior experience designing semantic layers, data models, and KPI definitions for consistent reportingA Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Economics is required, with an MBA being highly desirableAt this point, we hope you're feeling excited about the job description you're reading.
