We aim to improve healthcare globally by marrying market opportunity with behavioral insight to optimize our clients’ relationships with their customers.Our groundbreaking methods are scientifically inspired and strategically designed to match customer mindsets, achieve desired outcomes, and help our clients win in competitive, changing marketplaces.Since day one, BioVid’s formula for success has been to foster a collaborative, supportive culture where incredibly talented people are encouraged to be the best at what they do.Role SummaryAs Senior Director, Business Development, you will be responsible for generating new business by pitching work to new clients, identify rising business opportunities and build long-term relationships with prospects.What you will be doing:Lead outreach to new clients in priority organizations with the purpose of setting up initial meetings and driving new RFPsWork with head of department to assess, analyze and target potential new business opportunitiesWork with head of department and account leaders to develop account strategy and participate in monthly/ quarterly accountability sessionsPartner with account leads to develop tactical communication plans aligned to account-level goals on a rolling basisDevelop and maintain contacts in the industry associations, key decision makers and influencers across pharmaceutical industryArrange and lead meetings with prospects and ensure appropriate research support for these conversationsProvide coaching to account leaders and directors on client relationship development, prospecting and other aspects of BDLeverage company CRM system to track meetings, calls and email outreach to prospectsWork with BD Analyst and administrative staff to ensure careful upkeep of client databases and outreach activitiesWhere possible, support proposal and pitch deck developmentRepresent BioVid in business development capacity at select industry conferences as neededServe as interim account leads for new and smaller accounts during relationship-building phaseYour skillset & qualifications:College degree or work experience equivalent7+ years of Business Development experience, preferably selling custom market research and consultingExperience with team-based selling, collaborating with subject matter expertsExcellent time management and personal organization skillsExpertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF Pro, as well as experience in database applications, CRMs (such as salesforce.com), collaboration sites, and portalsPharmaceutical industry experienceGood communication and writing skillsStrong analytical skillsWhat success looks like:The successful execution of this role means that you will build partnership with new clients and successfully secure new accounts.We are committed to supporting our team members not just in their day-to-day work, but in their long-term growth.
