Our students are career changers looking for realistic, entry-level opportunities — and coaching helps bridge the gap between coursework and landing the job.About the RoleWe’re looking for a part-time Electrician Career Coach to support students through live workshops and optional 1:1 coaching.This is not a traditional employment role and not a guaranteed-income position. It’s a flexible, paid opportunity best suited for experienced electricians who enjoy mentoring, teaching, and helping others break into the trade — with upside if students choose to work with you.How This Role Actually WorksYou host a live, one-hour workshop (seminar-style) for studentsYou are paid $50 per workshop, plus any private coaching business you acquireYou may receive exclusive coaching opportunities based on performance and engagementWorkshops are used to provide value, answer questions, and showcase your real-world experienceIf students choose to book you for 1:1 coaching, you keep the coaching revenueYou set your own availability and working hoursThere is no requirement to convert students — workshops are paid regardless — but conversion is where the upside comes from.ResponsibilitiesHost a live, one-hour workshop on a monthly basisAnswer student questions about the electrical trade and job searchShare real-world insight into what entry-level electrician roles and apprenticeships actually look likeProvide optional 1:1 coaching to students who request itWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of professional experience as an electrician (residential, commercial, or industrial)Interest in mentoring and helping career changers enter the tradesStrong communication and teaching abilityAvailability at least three evenings per week, ideally Tuesday–ThursdaySelf-starter mindset — comfortable leading workshops independentlyIdeal FitThis role is a great fit if you:Enjoy teaching and mentoringWant flexible, side incomeLike the idea of being paid to teach — with optional upsideDon’t need guaranteed hours or full-time incomeCompensation$50 per one-hour workshop (One per month guaranteed)Unlimited upside from 1:1 coaching sessions you convertNo caps, no quotas, no minimumsOriginally posted on Himalayas
