We’re building a culture of ownership, collaboration, and growth, and we’re looking for people who want to make a real impact.Who Are We Looking to Add to Our Team?As the Resource Planning & Capacity Lead at Massive Rocket, you'll own the end-to-end resource planning process across the business, ensuring we have the right people working on the right projects at the right time.Operating at the centre of our delivery organisation, you'll connect sales pipeline, project demand, delivery capacity, resource allocation, utilisation, and commercial performance into one clear operating rhythm. You'll work closely with Growth, PMO, Delivery, Finance, and Operations leaders to provide visibility into future demand, identify capacity risks before they occur, and help maximise both delivery quality and profitability.This is a highly cross-functional role that combines operational excellence with commercial thinking. You'll bring structure to complex planning processes, improve governance, and provide the insights senior leadership needs to make confident hiring, staffing, and investment decisions.What Will You Do?Own the end-to-end resource planning process across active projects, upcoming work, renewals, and future sales pipelineMaintain a real-time view of resource availability, utilisation, capability, allocation, and future capacity across the businessPartner with Growth, PMO, Delivery, Finance, and Operations teams to align project demand with available delivery capacityIdentify and proactively manage resource risks including over-allocation, under-utilisation, skills shortages, delivery bottlenecks, and capacity constraintsTranslate sales pipeline and commercial forecasts into future hiring, contractor, and workforce planning requirementsSupport revenue forecasting, margin management, and project profitability by optimising resource allocation and billable utilisationEstablish governance, reporting, and operating cadences for resource planning, ensuring data accuracy and consistent decision-making across teamsLead regular resource planning meetings, driving accountability, action tracking, and cross-functional alignmentProduce clear dashboards and executive reporting on utilisation, capacity, demand forecasting, hiring requirements, and commercial risksContinuously improve resource planning processes, tooling, reporting, and operational workflows to support business growthWhat Makes You a Great Fit5+ years of experience in Resource Planning, Capacity Planning, PMO, Delivery Operations, Workforce Planning, or Professional Services OperationsStrong understanding of project-based delivery environments within consultancy, SaaS, digital agency, Martech, or professional services organisationsProven experience balancing sales pipeline, project demand, resource allocation, utilisation, and commercial delivery prioritiesStrong commercial acumen with experience supporting revenue forecasting, margin management, billable utilisation, and project profitabilityExcellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence partnering across Growth, Delivery, PMO, Finance, Operations, and senior leadership teamsHighly analytical, process-driven, and organised, with the ability to turn operational data into actionable business recommendationsExperience using resource planning, PSA, CRM, project management, and reporting tools such as Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Salesforce, HubSpot, Excel, or similar platformsComfortable operating in fast-paced environments, managing competing priorities, and proactively identifying and resolving delivery risksStrong communication and facilitation skills, with experience leading cross-functional planning meetings and influencing senior stakeholdersEnglish proficiency at C1 levelDesirableExperience designing or improving resource planning and capacity management frameworks within high-growth organisationsExperience working with globally distributed delivery teams across multiple regions and time zonesFamiliarity with professional services KPIs including utilisation, recovery rates, project margins, and forecasting accuracyExperience building executive dashboards and operational reporting to support strategic pl
