The position will remain open until filled. **About Institute for Justice \& Democracy in Haiti** The Institute for Justice \& Democracy in Haiti (IJDH) brings Haitians’ fight for justice to places abroad where too many decisions about Haitian rights are made. Along with its sister organization, the Haitian\-led *Bureau des Avocats Internationaux* (BAI), IJDH has helped Haitians, especially women and other marginalized people, enforce their basic human rights, in court, on the streets and in the court of public opinion since 1994\. IJDH coordinates advocacy coalitions, engages with members of Congress, pursues cases in domestic and international courts, documents repression and advocacy with the general public. **Position Description:** The Development Manager is responsible for advancing IJDH and BAI's fundraising strategy and long\-term organizational sustainability. The position leads foundation fundraising, supports individual giving initiatives, strengthens donor stewardship, and ensures fundraising operations, systems, and communications are coordinated and effective. The Development Manager reports to the Executive Director and works in close collaboration with programs and finance staff, as well as board members and volunteers. The Manager has access to support from experienced fundraising consultants who provide strategic guidance, thought partnership, and supplemental support on major initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic and collaborative professional who is excited to contribute to a small organization working hard to make a big impact for Haitians under attack in Haiti and the US. A successful Development Manager will take initiative to effectively manage competing priorities and adapt to shifting organizational needs.
