We are growing and seeking a highly organized, detail\-oriented Provider Enrollment \& Credentialing Specialist to join our remote team. **Position Summary** The Provider Enrollment \& Credentialing Specialist manages the full lifecycle of provider enrollment and credentialing for assigned clients. This role ensures accurate and timely application submission, proactive payer follow\-up, and full compliance with commercial and government payer requirements. Success in this role means preventing delays, minimizing rework, and delivering a seamless, predictable enrollment experience for providers and clients. This is not an entry\-level position. We are seeking a professional who can independently manage multiple enrollments while maintaining exceptional documentation accuracy in a deadline\-driven environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare, submit, and manage provider enrollment applications for commercial and government payers * Oversee initial credentialing, recredentialing, and provider demographic updates * Manage and maintain CAQH profiles with complete and accurate data * Submit and maintain enrollments through payer portals including PECOS, Availity, and Medicaid portals * Proactively track application status and follow up with payers to reduce processing delays * Maintain organized, audit\-ready credentialing files and database records * Verify licenses, certifications, education, malpractice coverage, and required documentation * Identify and resolve enrollment or credentialing issues through direct payer communication * Track expiring credentials and ensure timely renewals * Support audits, compliance reviews, and internal reporting requirements * Provide consistent progress updates and professional communication to clients and internal stakeholders **Required Qualifications** * 4\+ years of hands\-on experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, or payer contracting * Experience submitting applications to commercial and government payers * Working knowledge of CAQH, PECOS, Availity, Medicaid portals, and payer enrollment systems * Strong understanding
